Kalajoki Film Fest
Kalajoki Film Fest sets in the coastal town Kalajoki, Finland. The Festival was born in 2019, being the first edition only dedicated to Portuguese movies (short and featured). The Festival only had the first edition. Took place from 29 to 31 of August of 2019.
Kalajoki means Fish-River; the reason of the logo of the Festival is not random, is not for being related with movies about Fish, but because of the relation with town's name.
The Festival was born while Mariana Parasense was doing an Erasmus+ Volunteering in Ylivieska, Finland, in which she was more involved in creating activities realeated to cinema, photography and video.
Kalajoki Film Fest was approved by the Kalajoki Town and counted with the municipality support.
