Mariana Parasense was born in Portugal but always considered herself as a citizen of the world. 

Been always drawn to Arts such as photography, dance, cinema and music since early age, being in projects in which can always have a creative side.

As a big passion of movies decided to graduate in Cinema Studies in University of Beira Interior (Covilhã, Portugal)


Inside the Cinema field she produced, directed and edited some short-films on fiction, experimental, screendance and documentary, and worked together as 3rd camera assistant with the Master DOP José António Loureiro in the first season of the  TV Series "3 mulheres"; Currently is 1st assistant director of André Graça Gomes in the feature "Pena" in which is also making the Edition.

Founded an international Film Festival in Finland "Kalajoki Film Fest" (2019) during her European Voluntary Service where at that time created the youtube vlog: A PORTUGUESE IN FINLAND - EVS VLOG

Besides Cinema she works with
VIDEO: capture, editing, colour gradding (events, promos, institutionals, dance and music videos)
PHOTOGRAPHY: capture, editing (Dance photoshoot, modeling and events)
TRAINING on cinema, video and photograhy - it's a certificate trainer
